A Fable
This was about a group of different animals going to school and taking a bunch of tests that didn't relate to their natural abilities. This story has such a huge moral to it. School's curriculum has us students learning math science history English gen eds and then what were interested in. But what we are interested in comes last on the list of priorities of things to do. This makes it so we have so much to focus on, we can only be average at everything we do, If I only had classes that focused on my major and what I wanted to do with the rest of my life, I would be able to spend more time mastering that and excelling in that field, Its silly to ask a fish to climb a tree and expect him to get to the top...Why are we asked to do that.
Honest College Ad
The first and second time I watched this video it made me laugh. The third time I watched it, it became more real and truthful. When one of the kids said they've been wondering the streets for three hours looking for a party, it reminded me that so many students don't understand time management. And when the kid had his head in the toilet talking about how his dad works three jobs to send him to college; I don't think he'd appreciate knowing that's what his kid is doing for all his hard work. This ad made me kind of want to work harder because I know how important college is and im spending so much money that I should be taking advantage of. I think it was just making fun of the classic college student.
